Welcoming new faces to the Commercial Team
National Care Group, has introduced a new role, head of national development, as part of the organisation’s ongoing growth plans.

Armed with more than 30 years of experience in the social care sector, Belinda Robinson joined the commercial team led by director, Mike Ranson and will be responsible for driving the national growth strategy. Belinda will work alongside the regional heads of referrals to provide innovative and person-centred accommodation and support solutions.

She said: “I’m excited to have joined a company with values that reflect mine, empowering individuals to unlock their potential. By drawing on my past experience and passion for social care, I’ve been able to hit the ground running; engaging with people across the country, taking the lead on new development projects and helping people that require accommodation and support.”

Belinda joined National Care Group after working as the head of development and partnerships for Consensus Support in the South of England region. However, her career in social care began in 1988 as a support worker and since then she has progressed through several positions -including almost ten years with Avenues Trust Group, specialist service to support those with learning disabilities and complex needs.

She added: “Providing person-centred support, as National Care Group does, is what motivates me in my role. It’s an exciting time to join the business and as it’s a new role, I have the incredible opportunity to influence the direction of both the company and my own position. Looking forwards, my priority will be to ensure sustainable support and outcome-focused provision for the individuals we support based on their bespoke needs.”

National Care Group has been expanding its UK-wide commercial team this year and has recently welcomed three new regional heads of referrals to join Samantha Marshall who has established the role in the southwest over the past 12 months. Andrea Whitney will be based in the north and Holly Goodson in the southeast – both bring extensive experience in the adult social care sector to National Care Group.

Meanwhile, Mateusz Waskowski, who already worked for National Care Group, has stepped into the head of referrals positions for the central region. Another addition to the commercial team is a dedicated marketing executive, Lesley Brown, who will support with activity across all UK regions.

Mike Ranson, commercial director at National Care Group said: “We have established a successful model of partnership working which has delivered high demand for growth within National Care Group. The Covid-19 pandemic highlighted the importance of quality accommodation and support provision for vulnerable adults, and we’re pleased to be expanding our team to ensure we continue to grow our partnerships and respond to demand across the country.

“By appointing Belinda as our new head of national development, alongside Andrea, Holly, Mateusz and Samantha working in their regions, we are emphasising our commitment to providing the highest quality of care to the people we support across England and Wales and we look forward to seeing them flourish in their new roles.”
