We fully support people…

At National Care Group, our National Neurological Services fully support people with acquired brain injuries (ABI) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI), helping them to live full and rewarding lives. We offer ABI services to people needing long-term care and assist people who require rehabilitation following trauma in Tier 2b therapeutic settings.

Above all, we completely understand the huge and devastating effect these injuries can have on a person’s life. Our specialist teams help people living with acquired and traumatic brain injuries to strengthen their communication skills and improve their cognitive, sensory, social, physical and emotional behaviour.

Our dedicated teams are supported by specialist input from our rehabilitation consultants, physio and occupational therapists, neuropsychologists and speech and language therapists, all backed by our highly trained and caring nursing team.

Our long-term ABI support…

Our long-term ABI support is provided in small, local, residential settings. The specialisms we cover vary from service to service and includes helping people with Wernicke-Korsakoff syndrome, and/or complex and challenging behaviours. In addition, male-only or female-only support is available at some of our residential services.

Finally, we also provide supported living and outreach assistance for people with specialist neurological needs. As with our nursing and residential care teams, our highly skilled staff are trained in modern techniques and work in high patient to carer ratios to maximise the level of support they can provide.
