National Care Group Outstanding Achievement Award Winners

June 2023

This week all at NCG are celebrating the great news that one of Highlea Care's Supported Living Teams are the worthy winners of the National Care Group Outstanding Achievement Award for June.

Nominated by Charlotte Lumley, Regional Operations Director North, Charlotte felt compelled to enter them for the award in recognition of their dedication to a person they support called Shaun.

Shaun, who has a mental health diagnosis and mild learning disabilities, put his own case study forward to Charlotte and their Registered Manager Julie which tells the story of his life-changing progression thanks to the incredible support of the Team. You can read more about Shaun's story and the person-centered support delivered by the Team in the Get To Know Us section of the NCG website here.

Recognition must also go to the following colleagues who received nominations in June. Their dedication to the people we support and their performance to the NCG values of PASSION, EMPOWERMENT, RESPECT, and COLLABORATION are incredible, and valued.

Tracy Cook & Terry Gaynor from the Learning and Development Team nominated by their manager Nicola Airey for developing and delivering a bespoke training course for a person we support, responding to their needs, in just a week!

The Jamesons Residential Team were nominated by their RM Claire Carr for their outstanding support of a person transitioning to their service from hospital and defying the expectations of local professionals.

The Caewern Lodge Team, Integra were nominated by Rebecca Cardy for working consistently hard and collaboratively to improve the quality of life for the people they support - in particular for a person who is making such incredible progress towards being able to move on to more independent living 💪

National Care Group is extremely proud of all nominated colleagues and thanks them for performing to the values of Passion, Empowerment, Respect & Collaboration.
