We are a residential support service based in Colchester, supporting adults with a diagnosis of learning disabilities, mental health, autism and behaviours that challenge.
We deliver quality, person-centered care, acknowledging the unique qualities, abilities, interests, preferences, and needs of each individual person. The people we support are the centre of our service and in the hearts of all that we do as a team.
Our residential service includes seven apartments, purpose built to meet the bespoke needs of the people we support. We have a large garden with a swing, trampoline, and barn with a pool table, cinema projector, speakers, and space for arts and crafts.
Our team, led by myself Claire Carr, includes a service manager, three team leaders, and a dedicated team of support workers who work to the NCG values of passion, collaboration, respect, and empowerment in all that we do. We value and respect the choices of all we support and promote the development of skills for independence to encourage community involvement on a daily basis.
We work proudly and collaboratively with families and local professionals to maximise the choice, control, and independence for all. We are so proud that the people we support have created a lovely home for themselves at Jamesons and are living full and rewarding lives.
