The Bewdley Hill Team are September's Outstanding Winners!
National Care Group's Outstanding Achievement Award Winners for September 2022 are the Bewdley Hill Team from Endurance Care Worcestershire
The Bewdley Hill Team were nominated by their Registered Manager Kelly Smith for their major progress with a person they support called Kay. In under 6 months, Kay had been supported to stop self-harming, become more mobile, access the community, loose over six stone in weight, and manage a new diagnosis of diabetes and sleep Apnoea.
The Bewdley Hill Team are a brilliant example of how our Colleagues really go above and beyond in the support they deliver. The Executive Team, who score the nominations, were in awe of their achievement.

Karen Milligan, from Learning & Development, nominated by Regional Operations Manager for the Kent Region - Tara Fewster, for delivering First Aid training to the People We Support in a way that was person-centred and engaging.
The Rosglen Team, part of our National Neurological Service, was nominated by Regional Director Charlotte Lumley for going above and beyond in their roles, demonstrating the values of passion and collaboration.
Anthony Bolam, Larah Murray, Amy Sproull, Toni Crooks and Natasha Sugden, part of Highlea Care, were nominated by their Registered Manager Julie Cowens for their professionalism and support of one another during a particular challenging time.
Emma Stott, part of our Cleveland House service, was nominated by Chief Executive James Allen for her organisation and dedication to ensuring a Person We Support got to visit an Air Museum - a trip which he had always dreamt about.
Julie Fish and the Colwyn Avenue Team from Affinity Supporting People were nominated by Registered Manager Mandy Berry for their respect and compassion for a Person We Support on end-of-life care.
Laura Stephenson, our Chef from Abbeyvale Care Centre in Country Durham was nominated by Regional Operations Manager Caron Cook for her passion for ensuring the People We Support enjoy a healthy and varied diet regardless of any specific needs. In particular her focus on delivering Dysphagia Diet Standardised Initiative (IDDSI) preparation.
