OUTSTANDING ACHIEVEMENT | Announcing February's Monthly Winner

Chloe, a support worker from Shelton Care’s Networks Day Services is the deserving winner of National Care Group’s February Outstanding Achievement Award.

Chloe receiving her award from CEO, James Allen along with Service Manager Nicola Pike-Hulme.

Chloe was nominated by Registered Manager, Donna Walklet for the dedication, commitment, and passion she has shown to empower a person we support with many complex needs.

Chloe has supported Qadeer tirelessly and despite the intensity and complexities of supporting him, especially through his periods of unstable mental health and Psychosis, she has remained fully committed.

Chloe has promoted positivity across Qadeer’s core team. She has empowered them by enabling a better understanding of him and by improving communication. She has learnt the basics of a new language and created a translation board so she can better communicate with Qadeer and his family, who don’t speak English.

Chloe has thought nothing of changing her shifts to ensure consistency for Qadeer and has demonstrated cultural awareness and respect by embracing supporting him with prayer mat and routine – values very important to him and his family.

Chloe has gone above and beyond in her role, opening up Qadeer’s world to new opportunities. She makes his good days amazing and his difficult days more bearable.

A huge congratulations to Chloe for the incredible progress she has made.
