NEWS | National Care Group Win Prestigious Sector Award
PRESS RELEASE | NATIONAL CARE GROUP SCOOPS PRESTIGIOUS SECTOR ACCOLADE

National Care Group is proud to announce it has fought off competition from across the country to be named ‘Community Support Provider of the Year’ at the Health Investor Awards 2023.

Dedicated to promoting excellence and recognising innovation in the independent healthcare sector, The HealthInvestor Awards is made up of 26 categories spanning eight areas -including social care.

James Allen, CEO of National Care Group, said: “Winning such a prestigious industry award for a second year is a tribute to the hard work and the commitment of everyone at National Care Group. I’m immensely proud that our teams across the organisation have been recognised nationally for the remarkable work they do each and every day to empower the people we support to be able to live as independently in their communities as possible.

“The past year has been one of growth and development at National Care Group with an increase in capacity in both our learning disability and mental health provision across supported living and residential support. By focussing on our partners’ gaps in local services, we’ve been able to ensure there are future choices and opportunities for the people we support to remain within their home regions and communities.”

Additionally, the group has received finalist and winner accolades at several other industry awards, including the National Learning Disability and Autism Awards, the Great British Care Awards, and LaingBuisson Awards.

James added: “The award is an incredible achievement and recognition of the progress we are making across the organisation. It is about what we stand for; unlocking the potential of the people we support and our colleagues to change lives. Everyone is playing their part and I am proud to oversee the brilliant work we do to make this organisation successful and such a great place to work.”

The awards ceremony took place on Wednesday 7 June at Grosvenor House Hotel in London.
