Changing Lives is the bi-annual magazine, sharing news and stories from across National Care Group.

In the magazine, we share stories about our colleagues and the people we support, celebrating progress and success, as well as updates from across the organisation.

This Edition

This Spring/Summer edition has a special Coronation pull-out feature as a way of capturing a significant moment in British history that so many of our colleagues and the people we support celebrated.

Our front cover star is King Darren who is a person we support at our Chosen Care Yew Tree House service in the Forest of Dean.

As part of the Coronation jubilations, National Care Group empowered the people we support to become a King or Queen for a day too. They were challenged to get creative and make a crown of their own in the Create a Crown Challenge.

Darren is the winner who created this majestic jewel-encrusted crown fit for a king along with his support worker Paula.

In this edition, we also introduce our new team of Quality Checkers – all people we support who were all successful in applying for the position. You can read more about their journey and what they’ll be doing in their new, important roles.

Our new colleague engagement app, Engage, launched earlier in the year and we’re asking our colleagues to share their thoughts on their experiences of using it so far.
