National Care Group is delighted to share that Karen Lewis, Chief Operating Officer, has been shortlisted in the brand new Leading Women in Care Awards 2024 - created to highlight the remarkable success stories of women in social care.

Karen has been shortlisted as a finalist in the Business Woman of the Year - Home Care category, which will recognise the achievements of an outstanding leader from the sector.

Over 85 % of the social care workforce is female. Many of these hardworking, dedicated, and talented women juggle the challenges of family life with their careers. The purpose of the new awards organised by Home Care Insight is to promote gender equality and celebrate the incredible achievements of our female leaders.

A panel of expert judges now have the difficult task of choosing the category winners from the nominations ahead of a ceremony in London on International Women's Day - Friday 8 March 2024.
