Enjoying famous dishes from around the world

Despite the lockdown restrictions, many of our services have continued to find new and creative ways to keep morale high and spread some positivity amongst our colleagues and the people we support.

Our colleagues at Richmond Mews, part of Shelton Care Group, Stoke-on-Trent, have been busy planning theme nights every month, with the service picking a country and then cooking up some of the famous dishes associated with it.

This month, the people we support cooked up some delicious Pizza and decorated the home with the Italian flag and famous landmarks to celebrate an Italian themed night.

Katie Fallows, Regional Operations Manager, said: “It is really positive that our colleagues at Richmond Mews are not letting the lockdown impact their ability to create fun and exciting activities for the people we support, and it is this positivity that will help us all overcome these challenging times.”
