Hosted through a series of regional events, the Great British Care Awards are a celebration of quality in care and pay tribute to individuals and services that demonstrate outstanding excellence.
In total, a massive 23 services operated by National Care Group have reached the finals. The finalists are:

From keeping their homes Covid-free throughout the pandemic to ensuring colleagues gained priority access to Covid-19 vaccines, the finalists were all nominated for their dedication and commitment to both their colleagues and those they support.
Jill Hopcraft, regional operations manager for the south east region at National Care Group, said: “We’re incredibly proud of all the individuals and services that have been recognised in this year’s awards. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic every single colleague has gone above and beyond to ensure the people we support are safe, healthy and able to live full and happy lives. The sheer volume of finalists is testament to this hard work and I wish everyone the best of luck in the final.”
The awards are made up of 21 categories, which represent the wide variety of areas within the social care sector – from specialist services through to residential care and more.
Holly Goodson, head of referrals for the south east region at National Care Group, said: “Unlocking potential is at the heart of everything we do. However, this isn’t just the potential of the individuals we support but of our colleagues too. Therefore, we’re absolutely thrilled to see so many of our colleagues from across National Care Group being recognised in industry awards like this one. While there can only be one winner, there’s no doubt that every single person is worthy of these accolades.”
