Joanne's experience in social care spans 25 years, 20 of which have been spent in management roles. Her journey began with criminology studies, leading her to work in drug and alcohol services and residential rehab. Over time, she transitioned into forensic mental health services and supported living, building a diverse and comprehensive skill set.

Joanne's dedication to professional development is evident in her academic pursuits. She holds qualifications in Strategic Leadership and is a certified life coach. Currently, she is pursuing a counselling qualification, adding to her impressive credentials.

In her current role, Joanne oversees the North Central Area, where she manages services in supported living, Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), residential care, and mental health support. Her leadership style is characterised by a passion for empowering individuals and teams to reach their full potential. She values meaningful connections with both the people she supports and her team members, empowering an environment of growth and support.

Outside of work, Joanne enjoys traveling, spending quality time with her grandchildren, and taking leisurely walks with her beloved dog. Her commitment to her professional and personal life reflects her holistic approach to living her best life and supporting others to do the same.
