Abbeyvale Care Centre is located in the small ex-mining village of Blackhall Colliery, County Durham, and is a warm and caring residential service designed to suit the needs of people with a variety of different diagnoses including physical disabilities, the symptoms of old age, dementia diagnosis, and mental health needs.

Its overall aim is to ensure the people they support feel completely at home and at ease in their environment. The team will do whatever it takes to keep them safe, content, and happy.

They provide a positive, homely atmosphere that together with our tailored support plans, supports each individual person to achieve their personal goals and aspirations.The personalised care service is delivered in the utmost professional way and with genuine kindness.

There are 42 modern ensuite bedrooms which can be decorated to the choice and style of the individual person. There are three well-equipped and spacious communal areas and a large and well-maintained accessible garden that features raised flower beds and is completely private.

There is a resident Cook and Kitchen Assistant who provide homemade meals and can tailor the dishes to any specialist dietary requirements. The centre is also completely wheelchair accessible with ample car parking.
