Hi I'm Tara. With more than 23 years of experience in the sector, I began my career as a support worker and have continued to progress to the managerial level. I have been a registered manager for more than ten years holding RM positions at both residential and supported living services.

Having joined in 2021, I’m proud to be part of the 8 Acres team and the National Care Group family. During my first visit to 8 Acres, I really felt the dedication of the team and the personal care they put into the service they provide which I have continued to empower and promote since being in position. Every single one of my brilliant team is passionate about what they do and that makes a huge difference to the people we support.

At 8 Acres we support 18 adults with learning disabilities in a specialist residential setting. In 2021 the service underwent a half-a-million-pound transformation, delivering improvements in both the housing facilities and grounds, including new kitchens and bathrooms in most of the flats, along with a renovated driveway and fencing. This investment and the dedication of the team will ensure our next CQC rating is Good or Outstanding.
