Promoting safety and active participation

“The campaign helps to promote safety and active participation,”

As we are now into the final week of the ‘Fancy Face Covering Competition’ senior members of our Operations team have been discussing the positive impact the campaign has had on the staff and the individuals we support at our care services.

Alex Costa, Regional Operations Manager: Midlands, has been encouraging the services in his region to get involved in the campaign and to understand the importance of wearing face coverings.

“It is important that we are following government guidelines and are informing everyone involved within our care services about the need to be wearing face coverings when shopping.

As lockdown begins to ease, more of our staff and the individuals we support will be visiting shops, and it is important we are not getting complacent during this period, this campaign is a great reminder of that.”

Alex is proud to see that the services in his region are taking part in the competition and is very much looking forward to seeing how many entries have come through from his region.

“I am delighted to see that services in my region are getting involved in this campaign and learning valuable lessons about the importance of wearing face coverings when shopping.

With the campaign also being open to individuals we support, it has helped to promote safety and active participation for everyone involved.”
