Each month a National Care Group colleague is awarded an outstanding achievement award. The Executive Team receives many nominations and scores each one against the company values - Passion, Respect, Collaboration, and Empowerment.

In April, Mandy, a senior support worker, was nominated by her registered manager Kathy Howitt for the professional way she dealt with a serious incident at Chosen Care Supported Living. The incident resulted in a court case at which Mandy had to give evidence, all handled professionally by Mandy too.

Mandy was presented with her certificate and prize by chief operations officer Karen Lewis. She'll now go forward to the national finals next year. Well done to Mandy from all her colleagues.

Sarah Owen, support worker at Steps Rotherham. Sarah has only been with Steps for a few months and has already been making a huge difference to the lives of the people they support. Well done Sarah!

The Essential Care & Support Fulwell Road Team. Nominated for generally being incredible at what they do, the team has recently pulled together to support one another following the sad passing of a person they support. They've also been achieving fantastic progress for other people. They're a shining example of effective collaboration and show great passion in what they do.
