National Care Group are pleased to announce that our co-founders, Jamil Mawji and Faisal Lalani, have won the ‘Scale-Up Entrepreneur of the Year’ at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards 2020 North West.
The programme celebrates the hard work and inspiring stories of entrepreneurs and businesses across the UK, recognising the contribution they make to the economy and to the lives of their communities.
Jamil and Faisal, who were finalists in this category last year, were awarded with this prestigious accolade thanks to their continued efforts to grow the company and remain focused on providing excellent person-centred support to individuals with challenging needs.
“We are so proud to have won such a prestigious award that acknowledges how far National Care Group have come in a relatively short period of time. Such recognition will only motivate us to keep developing the company and expand our national portfolio to ensure we are supporting individuals across the UK to live rewarding lives,” said Jamil.
Founded in 2016, National Care Group has become of the UK’s leading providers of care and support services to over 1,200 individuals and operates in nearly 250 locations across England and Wales.
In what has been a challenging year for companies across the country, Jamil and Faisal remain committed to ensuring that the quality of care provided at the services and the growth of the company remains a key priority.

As regional winners, Jamil and Faisal have been put forward as finalists for the national awards, which will see them come up against fellow regional winners across the country.
