National Care Group Annual Awards 2026

A day to remember for our award winning colleagues

A day to remember for our 2026 award winners

The sun shone on London on the first day of October, and it could not have been better timed. This year, the National Care Group Awards winners were celebrated aboard an exclusive London bus, hosted by our Executive Team and Regional Operations Directors, who were joined by some of the most dedicated people in our organisation.

The annual National Care Group Awards celebrate and honour our exceptional colleagues and teams, recognising their hard work and the way they bring our values to life every day. Over afternoon tea, our winners saw the sights of London from the top deck, in unusually warm, bright weather. It was a welcome contrast to last year, when we were challenged with gale force winds!

Celebrating brilliant colleagues

Each winner was nominated by the people who see their work first-hand – their colleagues. Congratulations to:

  • Support Worker of the Year: Soorya from 8 Acres
  • Community Champions of the Year: Jenna, Katie and Rebecca from Regent College’s Work Experience Team
  • Manager of the Year: Gaby from Endurance Care Broadstairs
  • Rising Star of the Year: Morgan from Riversdale
  • Practitioner of the Year: Chef Laura from Abbeyvale Care Centre
  • Newcomer of the Year: Luke from Atlantic Way Care
  • Wellbeing Champion of the Year: Jessica from Phoenix House
  • Operations Team of the Year: Regent Road
  • Support Function of the Year: Nicola, Head of Talent Development
  • Outstanding Achievement Award 2026: Callum from Integra

Honouring our Decade Diamond

This year marks National Care Group’s 10th anniversary, so we created a one-off award, the Decade Diamond, to celebrate the people who make us who we are. It went to Katie, Regional Operations Manager for our central region. Katie is also celebrating her 25th work anniversary this year, which makes this recognition all the more special.

"Every one of our winners shows what support at its best looks like: passionate, respectful and always putting people first. I am immensely proud of each of you, and of the difference you make to the lives of the people we support and to your colleagues. Congratulations, and thank you for everything you do."
