The support
The Atlantic Way Care Team provides consistent, structured, and active supported living and outreach services. We support people with their wellbeing and empower them to unlock their full potential.
By being supported to engage in meaningful activities within and outside of their home, people can build their independence, confidence, and control and increase their practical skills.
All individuals are encouraged and supported to take an active role in decisions that affect their lives in and around their home. Our aim is to empower individuals and work collaboratively with them on a support plan, ensuring their voice is heard throughout every aspect.
Support is offered holistically, aimed at providing individual support that considers the whole person, not just their diagnosis. This approach is underpinned by National Care Group's values of Passion, Empowerment, Respect, and Collaboration, which inform all policies and practices.
The properties
We are based at our office in Bideford. In addition to our outreach support, we support people at seven different supported living properties in the north and central areas of Devon.
The location
The north and central areas of Devon provides the people we support with a range of amenities and facilities for socialising, entertainment, fitness, education, volunteering, and employment.
Our role is to support them in being active in their communities. The area enables us to support them in maintaining their hobbies and interests, attending social appointments, meeting with professionals, or engaging in any other community activities outlined in their support plan.
