The home has a family atmosphere and the team takes great pride in empowering people to develop new skills and to live their best lives. They encourage individuals to engage with their local community, actively participate in the management of their home, and work towards achieving their personal goals.
The properties
Recently refurbished following a significant investment in the buildings, facilities and grounds, 8 Acres features three areas of accommodation, which include independent bungalows, a house, and a capable and equipped converted barn.
Everyone supported has an en-suite room and many have their own private gardens.
An Activities Coordinator brings to life a group activities room, bustling with opportunities to socialise.
Members of our Gardening Club and their families frequently use a spacious garden area and a polytunnel for growing fruits and vegetables.
The site also provides wheelchair access for individuals with mobility challenges and has ample on-site car parking.
