CQC Inspection Success at Churchview

This last visit was an opportunity for the team to showcase the improvements and the life-changing work they deliver every day, and for the people we support to celebrate their independence and the happy home life they lead. We couldn’t be prouder of the positive feedback they have received.

The inspectors spent time with our dedicated registered manager, Kate, her team of support workers, the people we support, their relatives, and local professionals. The report highlights the relationships and a positive culture that make Churchview such a special place to live and work.

Here are just a few of the highlights from the report:

• People who spoke with inspectors were “happy with the support they received from staff.”
• A relative shared, “They [staff] are absolutely brilliant, absolutely no problems with them whatsoever.”
• The team was praised for their positive attitude and the supportive culture within the team. One team member commented, “We all get on well… I feel very valued.”
• The commitment to supporting people to stay connected was noted, with one person being supported to use an iPad to keep in touch with a relative living abroad. The report also noted the new digital portal that will soon make it even easier for relatives to access information about their loved ones.
• The report also featured feedback from a professional who described the overall quality of care as “Outstanding” and said they would “recommend the service.”
