Support for autistic people

Autism support

At National Care Group, we believe that supporting autistic people is not just about accommodating a person’s disabilities but making the most of their abilities. We recognise the challenges that autistic people face daily and that each person is unique with their own way of doing things.

We provide opportunities to support their progression regardless of how complex their needs are. Our expert teams will be patient and supportive, with a focus on helping them achieve their full potential.

Our specialist autism support can be provided in a person’s own home, in supported living accommodation and residential environments, or at our day services.

How we support you

Our highly skilled team spends time getting to know each individual. Working closely with the individual, their families, and other professionals, we focus on achieving positive outcomes.

We try to be clear, direct, and concise with information and instructions. If verbal instructions don’t work, we’re flexible in our approach and use visual and written forms of communication instead. Support is tailored to meet the needs of each individual.

People we support are encouraged to take part in meaningful activities. We empower individuals to get involved in community activities, develop life skills, maintain friendships, and gain access to employment and educational opportunities.
