The support
The Wellington Support Team aims to provide consistent, structured, and active support in a person's own home to ensure their wellbeing and unlock their personal potential. By being supported to engage in meaningful activities within and outside of their home, people can build their independence, confidence, and control and increase their practical skills. All individuals are encouraged and supported to take an active role in decisions that affect their lives in and around their home. Our aim is to empower individuals and work collaboratively with them on a care plan, ensuring their voice is heard throughout every aspect of their support. Support is offered holistically, aimed at providing an individual plan that considers the whole person, not just their diagnosis. This approach is underpinned by National Care Group's values of Passion, Empowerment, Respect, and Collaboration, which inform all policies and practices.
The properties
We are currently providing support to 26 people living in their own homes in the Northampton area.
The location
We support individuals in and around Northampton city centre, which has excellent public transport connections to London. Northampton offers a wealth of culture, sport, and history to engage everyone, should they choose. Many services we support are within walking distance of the city centre, featuring an abundance of artisan coffee shops and themed restaurants. Those using our services also benefit from local amenities at their doorstep, including sports facilities and numerous supermarkets for their weekly shop.
