National Care Group launched Walliscote Road, a specialist residential service, in February 2022. It supports eight people with a range of complex learning difficulties. Significant investment resulted in a beautifully refurbished property with spacious bedrooms and a homely feel.
With thanks to an expert, dedicated and very passionate team, everyone living here has established themselves as part of their familiar community and are truly living their best lives.
The properties
Walliscote Road is a fully adapted service, designed and decorated to meet people's needs.
Everyone has the opportunity to personalise their spacious room as they wish. We also have adapted kitchens and plenty of space for everyone to socialise, should they wish, with multiple lounges, an activity room and a low sensory 'quiet room' for some peace and quiet.
An enclosed, private garden with furniture and space to host BBQs and small gatherings is frequently enjoyed by all who live here.
The location
The service is ideally placed close to the town centre and all the local amenities, including the beach, which is a short walking distance away.
Being well placed within the community empowers the team to promote and encourage independence, supporting people's lives to be full and rewarding.
