Redcroft

Redcroft encourages the people we support to take an active role in their lives by helping them carry out day-to-day tasks. To develop confidence and promote social inclusion, we help everyone seek new activities and experiences both locally and in the wider community.

  The support

At Redcroft, we encourage the people we support to take an active role in their lives by helping them carry out daily tasks. To develop confidence and promote social inclusion, we help everyone seek new activities and experiences both locally and in the wider community. We offer a range of our own activities, including pet therapy, visiting owls and dogs, BBQs, picnics, and parties, and we also hold a variety of events. Everyone has a choice of where to go and what to do, including on annual holidays and weekend breaks. A break away allows people to interact with new friends in new surroundings and helps develop their social skills.

  The properties

Redcroft offers 10 spacious bedrooms, including two on the ground floor, three semi-independent flats, and a wheelchair-accessible lift. Many rooms have en-suite facilities. There is a large private garden where residents can sit and enjoy the leafy surroundings, grow vegetables, care for the home's chickens, and collect eggs.

  The location

Redcroft is a large Edwardian house with much character located in the mature residential area of Southbourne, Bournemouth. The house is within walking distance of local shops, amenities, public transport, and the conservation area and beaches of Hengistbury Head.
