The support
At Nexus, we offer specialist support and accommodation services to adults with learning disabilities, autism, and other complex needs in Essex. Our purpose is to enable those we support to live full, rewarding, and happy lives through careful planning processes focused on each individual's needs. This allows them to achieve their full potential and live as independently as possible within their community.
The properties
We are currently providing a range of support services to 26 people living in their own homes across the Essex region. We operate from our office in Wickford.
The location
We are blessed to be providing services in the Essex region as it offers a great base to support people to unlock their potential. Essex offers great convenience in terms of getting around and accessing services: Essex has good road connections to London and other parts of the UK. There are also regular train services connecting towns across the county and into London Liverpool Street, making it easy to commute. For international travel, Stansted Airport is located in Essex. There are extensive bus networks throughout Essex, making it easy to travel within towns and between them. Services like First Bus and Arriva operate many routes. Essex has a range of shops, healthcare facilities, and schools, making it a comfortable place to live with all the necessary amenities within easy reach.
