In May, National Care Group brought together around 140 colleagues across four regional conferences. They were moments to pause, reflect, and look ahead together.
Registered managers, service managers and colleagues from across our support functions – including finance, commercial, marketing, people, IT and more – gathered at venues across the country over two weeks:
The theme running through each day was a simple but powerful one: every interaction matters, every decision matters, every voice matters. Together, delegates reflected on where NCG’s story began, where we are today, and where we are heading next — with a clear collective ambition to be one of the best and most trusted support providers in the UK.
Support function teams brought the story to life further, sharing insight and a clear call to action: to lead with clarity and purpose, to use feedback and data to continuously improve, and to focus on the small everyday actions that create the biggest impact.
One of the standout elements of this year’s conferences were the regional awards ceremonies – and who helped shape it. The people we support played a central role in the process, whether by being present on the day to announce winners, taking part by video, or helping to judge the finalists. It was a powerful reminder of what these awards are really about, and a moment that many delegates will not forget in a hurry.
Regional winners have now been celebrated — but the story doesn’t end there. National winners will be announced at the end of June, and we look forward to sharing those celebrations with the whole organisation.
