National Care Group Outstanding Achievement Awards

Every year, our Outstanding Achievement Awards shine a spotlight on the brilliant people who make National Care Group what it is. Alongside the many local recognition schemes running across our services, these awards celebrate a colleague or team at a national level who has performed to the values of passion, empowerment, respect and collaboration – with a monthly winner chosen from nominations, and an overall winner crowned as part of our Annual Awards programme.

The 2025/26 monthly winners reflect the very best of what we do: outstanding leadership, unwavering commitment, and a genuine dedication to improving the lives of the people we support.

The 2025/25 Monthly Winners

  • April 2025: Essential Care & Support Team, for their collaborative approach to empowering a person we support to achieve excellent outcomes.
  • May 2025: Mandy, Affinity Supporting People, for her incredible approach to management, leadership and governance.
  • June 2025: Dawn, Endurance Care Worcestershire, for the difference she continually makes, always learning and developing to achieve great outcomes.
  • July 2025: Rachael, Westward Care 8 Acres, for her strong leadership and the improvements she’s driven at 8 Acres.
  • August 2025: Aluka, Jamesons Residential, for the incredible progress made in his role, including overcoming his fears to embrace digital operational systems.
  • September 2025: Wellington Support Primrose House Team, for the progress made supporting a person with a traumatic history, building trust to overcome barriers.
  • October 2025: Craig, Learning & Development, for the impact he made during a training session, supporting a colleague through a significant personal trauma.
  • November 2025: Rebecca, Finance, for her outstanding performance and can-do attitude during a challenging period for the team.
  • December 2025: Lauren & Alison, Endurance Care Kent, for their commitment to preparing for a new tenant’s arrival and empowering them towards greater independence.
  • January 2026: Tunde & Eddie, Endurance Care Kent, for delivering a personalised care and support plan that made a significant impact on a person they support.
  • February 2026: Westward Care 8 Acres Team, for their outstanding response to an emergency placement, resulting in a permanent home for the person at 8 Acres — a second win for registered manager Rachael, who also took the award in July.

and our overall winner is....
