Following the success of our inaugural Impact Report, we’re proud to publish our second, covering progress across the 2025/26 financial year from 1 April 2025 to 31 March 2026.
This report continues to track our commitments under our Corporate Social Responsibility strategy’s four pillars: Our People, Our Communities, Our Sustainable Growth, and The Environment.
Strengthened quality and compliance
One of this year’s standout achievements is in regulatory compliance. Our overall external compliance strengthened from around 80–82% to over 90%, peaking at 91.8% across the Group.
Recognised by our sector
In November 2025, we won Specialist Care Provider of the Year (large group) at the National Care Awards and were shortlisted for HealthInvestor and LaingBuisson awards. This recognition from our sector peers reflects the respect our teams have across social care. Closer to home, our team at Caewern Lodge proudly won Team of the Year at the Together We Care awards in Swansea.
Growing our services
We expanded our support in West Northamptonshire, winning a tender to operate a brand-new 15-flat development and creating thirty new jobs. We also opened a new supported living scheme in Sheffield, creating homes for eight adults in specialist accommodation, alongside continued investment in refurbishments across the country.
Celebrating our colleagues
This year, 229 colleagues celebrated long service milestones, together marking an incredible 1,945 years of service. Our Exec Team took great pride in visiting services to celebrate these milestones alongside many of the people we support.
Looking ahead
As we close out this reporting period, we’re preparing to celebrate something special: April 2026 marked ten years since National Care Group was founded, and we look forward to sharing our year of memorable moments celebrating everything we’ve achieved together
