Debbie’s efforts to make a positive difference for the people we support and colleagues at Endurance Care Deal & Hythe Supporting Living hasn’t gone unnoticed.
Volunteering in the community
National Care Group is committed to caring for people and communities.
Debbie arranged for people we support to volunteer at a local food bank just before Christmas. They distributed presents and delivered food to vulnerable people.
SE is a person we support at Endurance Care Deal & Hythe. Social situations can be a challenge for him. With support and positive encouragement from Debbie and colleagues, he was able to enjoy the meaningful community activity.
Creating recycled decorations
At National Care Group, we are committed to reducing our contribution to landfill.
Debbie supported LT, a person we support, to create Christmas decorations from recycled products. The house looked incredible, made extra magical thanks to the upcycling activity.
LT is a non-speaker. Debbie has developed her own ways of communicating and developing his skills, which brings out the best in him.
Organising Christmas experiences
Debbie organised lots of group activities for the house throughout the festive season.
Magical memories were made when the people we support and colleagues watched a local pantomime (oh yes, they did).
The house enjoyed a trip to a local pub for a Christmas meal.
Debbie also arranged for people we support to visit Christmas markets and see Christmas lights events in the local community.

Debbie is always an overperformer in all aspects of her role, according to Registered Manager Dan Burgess. He said:
“I believe that we have one of the most caring, dedicated members of National Care Group family in Debbie. She gives her all every time she comes into work. She is a credit and role model who I really appreciate.”
