People we support at Yew Tree House in Blakeney, Gloucestershire, put the sparkle into their community during the festive period by hosting a Christmas carol service at their village church.
They sang their hearts out to an audience of over 80 people, bringing joy to the village whilst also supporting the local church, All Saints, in Blakeney.
Yew Tree House has developed a great relationship with the church. The Christmas carol service has become a popular, annual tradition for supported people at Yew Tree House, colleagues, families, friends, and the local community.
“We were so pleased to be able to host the Carol Service again this year, and would like to congratulate Donna, Mel and their team for such a splendid achievement that is entirely consistent with our knowledge of the loving care and support that Yew Tree House offers their residents throughout the year.
“It was a privilege to be a part of such a joyous, inclusive and fun evening, and I know that visitors from other local organisations were delighted to be welcomed into the space, too.
“Several people have already asked for these gatherings to take place more regularly than once a year - so watch this space! We hope that there will be more to come!”~ Revd Gilly Traverse, All Saints Church, Blakeney
