Tom's photography makes the Daily Telegraph
Budding sports photographer and person we support, Tom West from Church View in Kent, has had one of his football photos capturing a Fulham v Middlesbrough game featured in the sports pages of the Daily Telegraph.

Tom, now 21, started taking photos at football games about 4.5 years ago whilst watching and supporting friend’s play. His passion for photography grew from there and he went on to join a sports media agency. Through the agency, he can apply to attend games to shoot photography alongside other sports photographers then send his images to the live news desks in hope they will select them for the newspapers.

Tom, who is a Charlton Athletic supporter, has been building his portfolio taking photography at some major games including Crystal Palace v Manchester United in 2019 and at Charlton’s play-off final at Wembley in May 2019. This Fulham v Middlesbrough image is his first major broadsheet coverage but he has big ambitions to keep at his dreams and gain more. He’s just started taking photography at rugby games too, having recently attended a Saracens game.

Tom said “I’m just so happy that no matter what situation you are in, if you work really hard and keep at it, you can achieve your ambitions. There are less barriers to achieving your dreams than people think – just go for it!”.

Everyone at National Care Group is delighted and proud of what Tom has achieved and wish him the very best in his future photography career.
