CELEBRATING SUCCESS | Sharon Scoops May's Outstanding Achievement Award
Sharon Moody from Clark House Win's May's Award

We're delighted to share that Sharon Moody, support worker from our Clark House Essential Care & Support service, was awarded the National Care Group Outstanding Achievement Award for May 2022 for always being central to organising memorable and meaningful activities for the people she supports.

Sharon, who has worked for National Care Group at Essential Care for 17 years, was nominated by her registered manager Claire McCabe as her name is regularly mentioned by everyone at Clark House in such a positive way.

Among the activities Sharon has recently arranged, Claire attended a Queen's Jubilee party by Sharon which was brilliantly decorated with banners and flags, outdoor music playing and cakes galore with everyone dressed up to celebrate. Sharon's colleagues shared that she had come into work early before her shift and stayed late/in her own time to bake cakes and decorate. She even took her own lawn mower to work to cut the grass and made sure it looked great. Everyone told Claire they were having a collection to buy Sharon some flowers to say thanks for such a good day.

Other outstanding colleagues nominated this month include:

  • Louise Petre, registered manager for Affinity Supporting People, South. Nominated by Andrea Whitney and Charlotte Lumley for expertly managing some major development projects and change at her services.
  • Kelly Smith, registered manager for Endurance Care Worcestershire. Nominated by Chris Wright for being an outstanding and motivating registered manager.

We applaud all our nominated colleagues for their performance against the company values of Passion, Respect, Collaboration and Empowerment.
