The role of a support worker is vitally important; supporting people to live their lives more independently by helping them to reach their potential - through both physical and emotional support.

The responsibilities of support workers are endless, and it's true to say no two days are ever the same. It's that variety that many of our teams love about what they do. The key responsibilities of support workers are promoting and planning meaningful days, supporting people to enjoy their hobbies and interests and helping them with their health and care needs which can include everything from routine checks of administering medication, promoting physical support through helping them with household and personal care, and everyday life skills like using public transport, shopping and paying bills.
