National Care Group colleagues and the people we support in services across the country have been busy preparing for the jubilations and celebrations taking place for today’s coronation of HRH King Charles III.

To mark this historic event, NCG empowered the people we support to become a King or Queen for a day too. As part of the jubilations, they were challenged to get creative and make a crown of their own in the Create a Crown Challenge.

Please take a bow for the winner, King Darren of Yew Tree House.

Darren is a person we support from NCG's Chosen Care service, Yew Tree House in the Forest of Dean. With a little help from his support worker and lady in waiting Paula, he has created this majestic jewel-encrusted crown fit for a king!

Darren will receive some royal treatment from NCG and be wearing his winning crown today with pride!
