Our Fancy Face Covering winner

The winner of our Fancy Face Covering Competition

National Care Group are pleased to announce that Sarah Treacy, an individual we support at Shelton Care Group, has won the ‘Fancy Face Covering Competition'.

The campaign, which was launched on 24th July, raised awareness of the latest government guidance surrounding wearing face coverings when shopping, whilst also encouraging active participation throughout our services.

With over 100 entries, the judges were given the tough task to choose a winner, with our care services providing so many high-quality entries.

After much deliberation, the judges decided on crowning Sarah the winner of the ‘Fancy Face Covering Competition’ thanks to her unique design and creativity.

James Allen, Chief Executive Officer and one of the judges, said: “I would like to congratulate Sarah on winning the Fancy Face Covering Competition, thanks to her unique design, the judges found to be the best from an already high quality bunch.”

As the winner, Sarah will be rewarded with a £100 Love2Shop voucher and a signed certificate from our Executive Team. The 2nd and 3rd place runners up - Clare Jones, Shelton Care Group and Andrew Travis, Affinity Supporting People will also be receiving a cash prize.

James also wanted to mention that he was proud to see so many high-quality entries from across our services and did not want entrants to leave empty handed.

“I am delighted to see that so many of our care services got involved in the competition, and it wouldn’t be fair if we didn’t reward those who took the time and effort to design such great looking face coverings.

We have decided that all those who entered the competition will be gifted with a reusable face covering as part of our commitment to supporting all those involved at our care services during this period.”

As we continue to see an easing of lockdown measures, it is important that we are continuing to follow the government guidance and ensure the safety of everyone involved within our care services.
