NURSES DAY 2023 | Thank you NCG Nurses!
Whatever the setting, whomever the patient, the one thing all nursing colleagues have in common is their unwavering commitment to making a difference in people's lives. This fact runs true at National Care Group too. Today NCG is proud to be thanking and celebrating its social care nurses and all they do towards unlocking the potential of the people we support, making a real difference in their and their families lives.

There are 26 registered nurses working across services at NCG, dedicated to delivering quality care and support to adults with a range of needs.

Today NCG joins the nation in celebrating nurses and takes the opportunity to shine a spotlight on Julie Warren, Clinical Nurse Lead at its Wellington Support services in Northamptonshire. Julie is an amazing nurse who goes over and above to support the people at her services and has recently been recognised for her commitment by being awarded Clinician of the Year at the National Care Group Annual Awards 2023. Julie was praised for calling in at her services on her days off whenever required to ensure that everyone receives consistent and exceptional quality care. She was also recognised for being an excellent role model to the whole team at Wellington, setting standards high and leading with respect and empathy.

NCG introduced this new award category for 2023, acknowledging the hugely important role that nurses and its other clinicians including physiotherapists, speech and language therapists, and occupational therapists play in unlocking the potential of the 1,400 people it supports across England and Wales.
