National Care Group founders are nominated for EY Entrepreneur of the Year

National Care Group are pleased to announce that our co-founders, Jamil Mawji and Faisal Lalani, are finalists at the EY Entrepreneur Awards 2020 North West.

The programme recognises high growth entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence in areas of innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

Jamil and Faisal, who were finalists in this category last year, were recognised for showcasing real entrepreneurial spirit and unwavering ambition during what has been a challenging and unpredictable year for all businesses across the UK.

“We are thrilled and honoured to have been selected as finalists at such a prestigious award for the second year running and to be recognised alongside so many talented entrepreneurs within the North West is a fantastic achievement” said Jamil.

Jamil and Faisal are amongst six finalists from varied sectors, including manufacturing and travel, who have all progressed to the final judging stage and will be vying for the coveted ‘EY Entrepreneur of the Year’ title for the North West region.

Jamil and Faisal play a pivotal role in enabling National Care Group to become of the UK’s leading providers of care and support services to over 1,200 individuals and operating in nearly 250 locations across England and Wales.

“This recognition is a testament to the dedication our staff show when providing excellent person-centred care to individuals with complex needs, during these tough times, the one constant remains our commitment to supporting people to live rewarding lives,” said Faisal.

The winner will be announced in October and will be eligible for the ‘EY UK Entrepreneur of The Year 2020’, which is to take place virtually in November.
