OUR LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT TEAM TAKE THEIR SKILLS INTO THE COMMUNITY
Our Learning & Development Manager Nicola Airey took her skills into the local community of Stockport recently, voluntarily training a group from a local bowling club on how to use their new defibrillator equipment.
They raised funds to install the new life-saving defibrillator after the sad loss of one of their members last year following cardiac arrest.
Nicola said "We were eager to share our skills with the members of the bowling club to ensure they were equipped to deal with a situation, if one arose again. The opportunity to train more people in our community to use this life-saving equipment is immensely important, and we encourage other organisations to follow suit and get skilled in the use of these devices.”
Her training was even featured in the local newspaper, The Stockport Independent
We thank Nicola for giving up her time. A great ambassador for National Care Group.
