Celebrating excellence in supporting people with learning disabilities

National Care Group were delighted to attend the National Learning Disability and Autism Awards in Birmingham on 28th June.

The awards celebrate excellence in the support for people with learning disabilities and aim to pay tribute to those individuals or organisations who excel in providing quality care.

Whilst attending the awards, NCG were also the principal sponsors, with Karen Lewis, Chief Operations Officer at National Care Group, presenting the Support Worker of the Year Award on the night.

Two of our services Affinity Supporting People, Lancashire, and Essential Care and Support, Durham, were nominated for two awards each:

The Senior Manager Award – Julie Fish, Affinity Supporting People

The Support Worker Award – Cluster 2 Team, Affinity Supporting People

Positive Behaviour Support – Clarke House, Essential Care and Support

Making a Difference – Tregorney, Essential Care and Support
