Following the December 1st publication of new Government guidance for visiting care homes in England, we are currently planning and preparing to implement new visitor arrangements.

This will include ensuring that we have received adequate supplies of the lateral test kits, have sufficient supplies of personal protective equipment (PPE), that colleagues are trained to support the process and that we have the appropriate areas available for testing and waiting. Locally our colleagues within services are working through the detail of the guidance and identifying any immediate operational challenges and concerns.
