NEWS | National Care Group signs the Menopause Workplace Pledge
The Menopause Workplace Pledge

National Care Group is delighted to announce it has just signed up to the Menopause Workplace Pledge, joining companies including Tesco, Santander UK, Severn Trent, and Bupa in pledging to ensure a supportive workplace for colleagues affected by menopause.

Women represent the majority of the National Care Group workforce and by signing this pledge, the organisation has reinforced its commitment to creating a workplace culture where colleagues can openly discuss the menopause.

Claire Leake, people director, said, "We have embedded menopause support into our Wellbeing program and have this month launched our new Menopause Policy which sets out our aims and delivers on our commitment to being a menopause-friendly organisation. I'm delighted to announce as part of that policy, we have pledged to cover the cost of HRT medication for our colleagues."

National Care Group has committed to breaking down barriers to accessing HRT medication and feels this financial support will be a welcomed contribution by the many colleagues suffering from menopausal symptoms, especially as other costs of living continue to increase.
