Introducing September's Outstanding Achievement Winners!

Margret and The West House Team are September's outstanding performers!

Two members of our Exec Team went on the road this week to surprise and congratulate the joint winners of our Outstanding Achievement Award for September. Joint winners had to be chosen due to the sheer amount of entries we received for September, a record number of 11 in total and all remarkable achievements.   Photographed above are The West House Team including Bridie Morris, Service Manager, Michelle Butler, Service Manager, Michaela Rudge-Pearson, Team Leader, Kelly Dowse, Team Leader and Claire McCabe, the Registered Manager. They were nominated by their Regional Operations Manager Charlotte for achieving major progress with a person we support at West House. Going above and beyond their roles to ensure their health and safety, plus unlocking their potential through exceptional care plans, for the individual. Presented with a certificate and vouchers by our Quality Director, Mike Cleasby, there were celebrations and tears at the news of their much-deserved recognition.   Caught on camera above is Margret Godwin, a support worker from Steps in Rotherham. Margret was nominated by her Registered Managers Annette and Rachel for not only being an exceptional support worker who is a general pleasure to work with but also because she is celebrating 45 years in care this year!   Margret is very experienced, having supported the elderly, dementia and learning disabilities during her career. Annette said "Margret is an amazing lady and nothing is ever too much trouble for the Individuals We Support at Steps. Margret has worked at Steps for just over 10 years now, and although she turned 65 a few weeks ago, is continuing to work full time at the service." Margret was surprised with flowers, a certificate and a voucher by our Chief Operations Officer Karen Lewis whilst on shift this week.   A big well done also goes to all our nominated colleagues during September who included:
  • Southview Team, The Grange, nominated by Julie Cowens
  • Francesca Hadley, Springvale, nominated by Michelle Palmer
  • Grace Mason, Jamesons, nominated by Joe Steel
  • Catia Pereira, Lord Nelson House, nominated by Marie Roberts
  • Sheryl Cox, Lord Nelson House, nominated by Marie Roberts
  • Andy Olsen, Devizes, nominated by Steven Bryce-Murray
  • Steven Duke & Philip Escanar, Broadfield Road, nominated by Megan Rooney
  • Zena Payne & Lucy Gray, Okefield Avenue, nominated by Hayley Lynch
  • Louise Petre & the Brompton Avenue Team, nominated by Marie Hilton
  •   Brilliant people, doing brilliant things for the people we support!
