In light of the fact that living with Covid has now become the norm, the National Care Group Risk and Governance Committee has agreed to cease meetings of the special Covid Risk Committee which has met since the beginning of the pandemic. This does not mean that the organisation will be less vigilant on the risk Covid presents but its management will be considered alongside all other infection control measures in place. Should there be a reoccurrence of the pandemic previous governance arrangements will be reinstated.
