Let's help get the country back to the ‘rhythm of life’

Playing your own star-studded role by getting a double COVID-19 vaccination to help get the country back to the ‘rhythm of life’ is becoming ever more important. The great news is, no sequins or tap-dancing shoes are required, and it will all be over much quicker than it takes to watch this short film!

Celebrities including Jim Broadbent, David Walliams and Nicola Roberts have joined forces with the NHS to encourage everyone to get both of their COVID-19 vaccines in a new toe-tapping film. Set to the uplifting tune The Rhythm of Life, from the 1966 classic musical, Sweet Charity, the catchy film celebrates the success of the vaccination programme and supports the easing of restrictions as outlined in the roadmap.

Double vaccinated people are far less likely to get COVID-19 with symptoms and even more unlikely to get serious COVID-19, to be admitted to hospital, or to die from it and there is growing evidence that they are less likely to pass the virus to others too.

Something becoming ever more important in order to keep the people we support safe and well as restrictions begin to lift from next Monday.

Watch and dance along with Jim Broadbent as he enters an empty theatre before a star-studded cast of David Walliams, Asa Butterfield, Colin Salmon, Derek Jacobi, Don Warrington, Nicola Roberts, Russel Tovey, Sandra Marvin and West End dancers - dressed in iconic NHS blue - take to the stage to passionately perform the song!
