UNLOCKING POTENTIAL | Dean receives his Prince's Trust Award
Dean, a Person We Support at one of our Essential Care and Support Services, recently had the privilege of receiving his Prince’s Trust award certificate from the Deputy Mayor of Sunderland.

In April Dean spotted a poster advertising The Prince's Trust Team Program and was keen to join. With the help of our colleagues, Dean was enrolled on a 12-week course leading to him gaining The Prince's Trust Entry level 3 in Employment, Teamwork and Community Skills.

Dean enjoyed the 12 weeks so much that he went on to complete a further 12 weeks. Last month Dean passed The Prince's Trust Team Program and was handed his certificate by the Deputy Mayor of Sunderland along with the firefighting crew from Farringdon Station.

This has been a massive achievement for Dean and has not only given him more of an understanding of the world of employment - which Dean is hoping to branch into but also working within the community and working as part of a team. Dean is sad to see the program end, but he is looking forward to putting what he has learned into future practice.

All at National Care Group are extremely proud of Dean's hard work and determination to achieve his goal of completing The Prince's Trust Award. Well done Dean!
