National Care Group opened a brand new building at Shelton Care Day Services this week

Shelton Care, part of National Care Group, have proudly opened a brand new building for Links and Networks day opportunity services. The new Knight House will enable us to support people with a wide range of activities with rooms dedicated to beauty, peace and quiet, games, general activities, sensory experiences, arts and crafts, dinning, computers and even a cinema room!

Links and Networks day services currently support approximately 55 people from the Stoke on Trent area who live at home with family but need support and relief to do healthcare, social and various creative activities.

Regional Operations Manager, Katie Fallows, said

"Knight House offers us so much space and is located in a town centre which opens up more opportunities for the people we support to grow relationships with the community. It will also bring both day services together for the first time, and give us the capacity to welcome new people into the service.

My personal thanks go to every colleague who worked tirelessly to prepare the building, especially those who worked outside of hours to get the building ready to open on Monday."
