Wednesday, 7th April 2021
Amy Booth, Tutor at Regent College, organised a socially distanced ‘Dance-a-Thon’ for Comic Relief, raising £200 in the process!
She put her dancing skills to the test in a 5 hour ‘Dance-a-Thon’ whilst also encouraging all the learners to get moving and shaking as well.
Learners chose their favourite songs and had lots of fun throughout the 5 hours of dancing, which saw Amy do 20,000 steps!
Wendy Williams, Principal at Regent College, said: “I am so proud of Amy and all our learners who have helped to raise money for such an amazing cause. Putting her dancing and body to the test for 5 hours is such a difficult challenge, but its great to see Amy persevere and show so much determination throughout.”
