OUR VALUES: Passion | Empowerment | Respect | Collaboration
Welcome to National Care Group Developments
We have ambitious growth plans and are proud of some of our recent developments which include new properties, re-purposed properties, and major refurbishments.
We challenge the ‘one size fits all’ approach of traditional residential and supported living environments and build bespoke solutions. To do so we work in partnership with local authorities, developers, and housing association partners to offer people the opportunity to stay within their community close to family, in the right environment to suit their specific needs.
Our recent developments include:
REFURBISHMENT: Shelton Care, Stoke on Trent
We are nearing completion on a £1m investment project into service refurbishments at Shelton Care Group in Stoke on Trent.
Significant improvements are underway at our Regent Road, Networks Day Service, Cauldon Place, Richmond Mews, and Richmond Bungalow residential properties.
The work includes structural transformations and the introduction of some new modern and accessible kitchens. Works to Richmond Road also include a full wet room conversion.
The people we support were involved with choosing their colour schemes for their bedrooms and other decoration throughout the properties.

NEW DEVELOPMENT: Palmarium, Cornerstones, Wiltshire
In July 2022 we opened a brand-new supported living service in Calne, in close partnership with Wiltshire County Council. Palmarium consists of seven self-contained flats providing an environment capable of meeting a variety of needs.
The service supports adults with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential. After recognising a gap in services within the region, the service was designed to prevent inappropriate placements for people away from their home communities and families. Working together with our partners, we were delighted to open Palmarium fully occupied.

NEW DEVELOPMENT: Supported Living at Cornerstones, Wiltshire
We recently invested into two of our existing Cornerstones supported living properties, repurposed and refurbished to meet the changing needs of the people we support and enable them to remain in their home county. The result provided individual and bespoke supported living provisions in which the people supported were involved from conception.
Cathy pictured above needed a home without stairs. Her new ground floor flat was created just for her, and she was actively involved in the refurbishment of her environment, excited to decorate everything pink!

REFURBISHMENT: Chosen Court, Chosen Care, Gloucestershire
Significant investment has been made into the refurbishment of our Chosen Court residential service in Gloucestershire.
The investment included improvements to the property and its grounds with a refurbishment throughout, a small extension, a new room for colleagues to take time out, and a new lounge area.
The people we support at Chosen Court were involved in the project from the very start. They enjoyed choosing the colour schemes for their bedrooms and even helped our contractor partners, National Reactive, with some of the work including wallpaper stripping and sweeping.

NEW DEVELOPMENT: Supported Living, Affinity Supporting People, Liverpool
In October 2021 we proudly opened a brand new supported living service in Liverpool designed to nurture the independence of seven young adults with additional needs. Working in partnership with First Priority Housing Association and Liverpool City Council, the house benefitted from a complete renovation across three floors with modern and accessible communal areas. It provides the perfect space for the people supported to gain skills in living independently with the support of our expert team.
Megan pictured above proudly shows off the front door to her modern and spacious new room, personalised to her requirement.

Stepping Stones, now Wellington Support, Northamptonshire
In May 2021, we acquired Stepping Stones Care Homes, to take over the operations of it’s three facilities in Northamptonshire.
Phoenix House, Ryecroft Apartments and Primrose House in Northampton, which provide rehabilitation for people with complex mental health needs and help them gain greater independence, are now registered and operating under our Wellington Support services.
The services support people to reintegrate into their local community. We are proud that they have recently all been rated ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission.
