Wiltshire-based St Patrick’s House and Pennings View, with support provided by local colleagues from Cornerstones, owned by National Care Group, are celebrating the recent upgrade of their Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating to ‘Good’ overall following inspections.
Inspectors rated both services ‘Good’ across all inspected areas: Safe, Effective, Responsive, Caring and Well-led.
During the latest CQC visits, inspectors spent time with our dedicated registered manager, Jane, her team of support workers, the people we support, their relatives, and local professionals.
It was an opportunity for the team to showcase the improvements since the last inspection and the life-enhancing work they provide every day. CQC concluded that they are consistently well-led and provide high-quality, person-centred care and support.
“We’re incredibly proud of this outcome. The report reflects the collaboration and genuine passion shown by our teams every day - not just for the inspection, but for the people we support.
"This was a real team effort, and I’d especially like to thank everyone across National Care Group's support functions who helped us prepare, responded quickly, and had our best interests at heart. It’s been a shared success, and I am so thankful!”~ Jane Parker, Registered Manager
“I’d like to extend my congratulations to Jane and the entire team at Pennings View and St Patrick’s House. This upgraded rating reflects their continuous hard work and dedication to enable the people we support to live their best lives and achieve their full potential.”
